Mandala means "circle" in Sanskrit. They can symbolize the universe, the natural perfection in nature, and universal harmony. Tibetan Buddhist monks create their traditional Mandalas with colored sand. I create my Mandalas with light. A technique involving lights, camera, photoshop for post production, and my trusty rusty tripod. All the images on this website are the copyright of Terry Long, who produced them. Solo show at the University of Redlands
Transformation Mandala is one of 50 mandala artworks that was on display in my solo show at the Art Gallery, University of Redlands, California this year. This artwork was partly influenced by Tibetan art.
